Towns and Shopping This is a list of all the towns and villages you'll visit while playing Little Ninja Brothers. Also included is a list of all of the establishments in the town, and the items for sale in each of the item shops! For the Field Events in the towns, check the Field Meet section of the shrine. First, an explanation on the establishments commonly found inside towns.
Tool Shops are indicated by the word "Tool", of course. They sell consumable items, as well as some equipment such as Amulets and Talismans (or is it Talismen? 8)
Hotels restore your HP by sleeping there for the night. The cost is fairly low. The Innkeeper looks like Dr. Wily, I think.
Equipment Stores sell equipment such as punches, robes and shields. Basically, this is where you get your battle equipment. They are indicated by a fist on the sign of the building.
Convenience Stores are a totally free service. They act as "respawn" points if you ever get killed, so if you ever get knocked out in battle, you return to the last Convenience Store visited, though you will lose a lot of Sen. Things you can do here include:
Revive: Bring back your partner if he was killed.
Change Number Players: Change from 1 Player mode to 2 Player mode, or vice-versa.
Password: He gives you a password for the part of the game you are in, to continue later. Or of course, you can use save states.... but that's another story.
Next Level: Find out how close you are to the next EXP Level.
Press B to leave the Convenience Store.
Now, the moment you probably haven't been waiting for (same old lame joke, eh?). Bring on the towns!
The first town in the game, located just to the north of the start. I believe Jack and Ryu live here, but there is no way to tell. You can get a lot of useful advice from the people here, and you can learn the Dragon Kick technique. Establishments: Hotel (10 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Training Club, Equipment Store. Tools and Equipment:
Deli-Chous is the world famous town of delicacies and fine foods. The people here are very skilled in the culinary arts and eat a LOT (look at the guy in the bottom right to see what I mean). However, when Jack and Ryu arrive, the people are complaining that the mayor is stealing all the food and people are disappearing.... hmm.... The Orange Bell of Prism is in this town. Establishments: Hotel (15 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Delicacy Store, Equipment Store, Neddy's Eatery, McRonalds, Mayor's Palace Tools and Equipment:
Note: You can't buy anything from the restauraunts in this town. Also, if you talk to the mayor after defeating Tub-A-Tummy, he will offer you a ton of food, resulting in your character getting too fat to leave the palace. You'll have to rapidly tap the A button to work the weight off!
This town, located far to the east of Deli-Chous is rather odd at first. The people seem retarded, and the fact is they actually are due to a curse by the Evil Queen who lives to the east. Savior Moonlit Tiger lives here, and he tells you to head east to the Water Lily Palace to de-throne the evil queen and restore the town to it's past glory! It's the only way to get the Yellow Bell of Prism. Establishments: Hotel (15 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Savior Moonlit Tiger's House, Mayor's Palace Tools and Equipment:
Another town that seems to live in fear of the Yoma Clan, but is safe for the time being. The people in this town talk of a strange salesman who sells the Talisman-Y. Too bad it's really hard to get him to hand one over.... Establishments: Hotel (20 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Equipment Store, Talisman-Y Salesman's Place, McRonalds Tools and Equipment:
This is the town that was taken over by the Yoma Clan in the introduction. The first screen seems peaceful enough, even though the people seem mindlessly devoted to Blu Boltar. But in the northern section, there are enemy encounters everywhere.... One more thing.... do not buy ANYTHING from the shop on the northern section! Establishments: Hotel (30 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Equipment Store, Second Equipment Store, Royal Palace Tools and Equipment:
Much like Horizon Gate in Super Ninja Boy, this town is full of monks and fighting men. It is rumoured that Rick (him again!) has the Blue Bell of Prism and is willing to hand it over to whoever beats all of the scholars of the temple. Oh yeah, be sure to check out the pond! Establishments: Hotel (30 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Equipment Store, Wise Ram's Pond, Shorin Temple, Shorin Training Ground Tools and Equipment:
A small town situated in the desert, near the Fire Castle. Everything here is expensive, but well worth buying, especially the Dragstar Batteries! Keep in mind this is the last town you can Whirly-Bird to: to get to the other towns, you must travel on foot..
Establishments: Hotel (40 Sen a night), Convenience Store, Tool Shop, Equipment Store, McRonalds Tools and Equipment:
The "village of twins", probably called that because of the twins sitting in the east corner. Other points of interest: people complain about voices coming out of the well, you can earn the Prism Claw from the Fist Club building, and the huge strong man named Moo-Man has lost his mind due to "tricking the divine" (???)... anyways, go check out the well!
Establishments: Hotel (50 Sen a night), Fist Club, Well
Hey, look! There's a village under Ling-Rang! To get here, simply jump down the well. Here, you will find the final Bell Of Prism by talking to the sacred mistress of the earth Banko, as well as the best Equipment Shop in the game and the entrance to the final dungeon... but first, you need to get the heavy door open... perhaps a strong man could help....?
Establishments: Hotel (70 Sen a night), Tool Shop, Equipment Store, Banko's Temple Tools and Equipment:
