Enemies

Enemy names in yellow are bosses.

Flying enemies can only be attacked by an aerial attack (although a jump attack cannot attack an enemy on the ceiling). Enemies on the ground or ceiling can be damaged by a quake attack. If Mario or a party member attack a spiky or fiery enemy directly (ie any attack where the attacker is required to touch the enemy) without proper protection (Spike Guard or Fire Shield Badge), they'll receive 1 HP damage).

Tattle Number refers to the order enemies are found in the Tattle Log.

The "Items" column refers to the items and badges that enemy may use in battle (you can also win these items randomly after battle, or have Ms. Mowz still them). Badges are in bold. Keep in mind that this list is incomplete, and is not meant to be comprehensive. It just contains the items and badges I've personally seen an enemy use. Also, as a rule of thumb, if an enemy uses a certain badge, you can bet that enemy can also use the partner equivalent (for instance, if you see an enemy with an HP Plus Badge, it can probably use the HP Plus P Badge as well).
